In 2010 – 2011, MAPC selected five goals for the organization:
Representation - Representing parents of school aged children Manitoba and working toward increasing membership to include participation from all regions and groups in the province as well as promoting diversity on the board of directors.
Supports and Services - Offering membership and stakeholders supports and services through;

- Advice and Consultation
- Communication and Recognition
- Networking Opportunities
Advocacy Project - Advocating on behalf of parents and students on education matters in Manitoba
Educational Partnerships – Increasing and enhancing positive relationships with educational stakeholders in Manitoba
Organizational Function – Administering the operations of the MAPC office including board governance and support processes for MAPC board directors and staff
The MAPC Board of Directors will take part in strategic planning again to ensure the strong and relevant continuation of the organization in the future.
